mmmmusic

One day I hope to regain my desire to write, along with my desire to eat and shower. Until that time please enjoy these links that renew my fake faith in God:

Hem - Radiation Vibe (No Word From Tom

I love HEM and I fell in love with Radiation Vibe and the entire Fountains of Wayne album when it came out in high school. It has hilarious uber pop songs about bikers, troubled girls and such. There are some women I would marry based solely on their voices, including Amy Millan, Margo Timmons and Sally Ellyson, as opposed to anyone else I would marry which would be based solely on looks.

Death Vessel (Stay Close)

This is a grown man. I saw him perform live and it is even more amazing to witness this crystal clear pure voice cin person.

Cat Power - stuck on Lived in Bars for now

I was an early detractor of 'The Greatest' mostly because it was so polished and 'upbeat' for Cat Power. Hello? I can't believe that you have donned some cowboys boots and abandoned me here in this trough. I got over that and it is truely great. And listening to the tracks live you see that she still possesses her heart wretching quality. I haven't heard such an affecting audio heartbreak since Anna Gabriel.

*ps, feel free to kick me and give me a nice SHAD UP! if seen on the street.

*Updated* INDIA

hiking Posted by Picasa
now includes the correct link and sergio's version of India

India was a lovely experience, but the developing world kicked my ass. I realized even more so how rapid advancement and the need to catch up is pure evil. Uh, I mean the Taj Mahal is undoubtedly one of the wonders of the world and the people of India are truly the real treasures of that country. Despite my Debbie Downer description, it was definitely worthwhile. Pictures to prove it..
